Tab Trade - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
